We loved dining here for several reasons:
- lt felt like we went back in time, eating in the courtyard of a caravanserai
2. We had sturgeon for the first time (why can’t we eat this fish anywhere else apart from this region???!!! it was quite expensive 40EUR for the dish you see below)
3. The individual rooms where traders used to sleep in during their long journey on the Silk Road were decorated in different themes.

Thanks a lot. I actually hit my 100th country 2 years ago at the age of 28 with Kuwait! The new goal is to do 150 before 50!
